Here we show you how the product went from a fibre to furniture.
Linen is a breathable, light weight, natural material. With age, it turns rustic looking.
All of our linen is certified:
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®
This fabric is purchased from a fabric house in Bali, where Lisa sends to Tarum.
Natural Dye Process
A value of ohti's is to attempt to leave as little of a footprint as possible. Although, this is very tough when creating new products, we make careful decisions to minimise our impact.
The linen is now dyed using natural resources such as; avocado seeds, indigo, mango husks etc. This is a ten day process.
MADE WITH LOVE BY ALEX IN CANGGU
From here, it is picked up by tailor and friend, Alex. Here he hand measures, cuts and sews each item. This ensures every item is made with love. After figuring out a perfect sample, tags, zippers etc, he begins creating. Production takes around a working week
Sent & Packaged
It is now shipped to Aus, where I check every item, attach the tags and deliver.
We hope you enjoy this collaboration product. ohti is very excited to provide more sustainable options for mindful purchases.
