Digestive Tea

Writer's picture: ElleElle

Digestive tea has been a keeper since one of my favourite ohtis, Kate, poured me a cup many moons ago. Personally I have a digestive tea whenever I can but for my mind when know I fucked up and totally ate too much, had the sneaky choc or really just want to feel good after eating, sometimes it’s just mind over matter. There is no promise of a new digestive system, to loose weight or any of that. The benefits of each are below though and worth a sample if you’re into it. The blend tastes a treat, feels refreshing and can give the digestive system a little help. Enjoy at any time of the day.

No Ohti Digestive tea -

A) sloth around, enjoy being full, zone into I-life (iPhone life) for a fair way until it’s time to either do a life chore or an activity.

With Ohti digestive tea:

B) be full from nutritious eats, sip on a delicious brew, feel good about helping my digestive system out, pumping on the “Ohti digestive playlist” and get shit done! Good for the soul and mind

Your choice?

Potential benefits from sipping:

•Peppermint, (Mentha x piperita)is digestion heaven can assist nausea, diarrhoea, indigestion and IBS. Personally my favourite aromatic herb.

•Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) can provide antibacterial properties especially in relation to brain fog and digestive issues.

•Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) -

•Fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare) help ease muscles in the gastrointestinal system allowing it to relax and reduce gas and bloating.

•Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) - Oh chamomile the herb the golden herb. Can assist in many ways, which can provide relief for stress and improve sleep while soothing the stomach.

•Calendula (Marigold): This beautiful extraction from marigold flowers can provide anti-inflammatory and can provide support for our biggest organ, the skin.
